On Saturday 1st November 2025 the NYSD Harrier League returned for its second fixture of the 2025-26 season at Fox Rush Community Woodland, hosted by New Marske Harriers AC. The woodland venue in Redcar provides a challenging, but relatively flat cross-country course on mixed terrain of woodland tracks, gravel lanes and grassy clearings. The weather was good and the course surprisingly dry for an early November outing in the North East of England.
Foxrush follows the first fixture held at Acklam School last month, with clubs from as far South as Scarborough, Easingwold and York, Teesdale and Richmond in the East and Hartlepool in the North, all gathering to compete in individual and team categories across Junior and Senior age categories.
